Sidney W. Kilgore has substantial transactional experience negotiating a wide range of agreements, domestic and international, for private companies and public entities as well as overseeing and managing complex issues for organizations. He is a Registered United States Patent Attorney and a mediator in both Florida and federal courts. In 2009, he was selected a member of Florida Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite in the area of intellectual property law. Mr. Kilgore has served as an adjunct professor at Stetson University College of Law and at the Department of Government and International Affairs at the University of South Florida. He has been a member of several Bay Area law firms and has also worked for local governments. Mr. Kilgore is conversant in French, Spanish, and Swedish.

Mr. Kilgore is admitted to practice before all of the state courts of Florida, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of International Trade, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Kilgore served on the Florida Bar’s Federal Practice Standing Committee. He also served as a hearing officer for the Hillsborough County Public Transportation Commission and for the Hillsborough County Emergency Medical Planning Council.

Mr. Kilgore received his law degree from Stetson University College of Law, and holds an advanced LL.M. degree in international and comparative law from the Concannon Programme of International Law, London Law Centre, University of Notre Dame. In addition to his law degrees, Mr. Kilgore holds a B.A. degree in philosophy and economics from the University of Florida and has completed substantial studies in computer science and mathematics from Florida State University.
