            Rory Weiner is board certified as an expert in business litigation law by the Florida Bar.  He has more than a decade of experience in representing clients in the Tampa Bay area in all types of commercial litigation from the mundane to the complex in both Florida and federal courts.  He has written numerous articles for legal publications, and is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education programs for lawyers.  Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Weiner was a federal judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michael A. Ponsor, in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Mr. Weiner is admitted to practice in the state courts of Florida and Massachusetts.  He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Mr. Weiner is a past president of the Brandon Bar Association.  He is also a volunteer attorney with Bay Area Legal Services.

Mr. Weiner received his J.D. from Western New England College School of Law, where he served as a member of the law review.  In addition to his law degree, he holds a B.S. in biology from the University of South Florida, a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Florida, and a Ph.D. in ethics from the University of Florida.  Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Weiner taught philosophy at Harvard University and other colleges.
